New York State is primed to become a world class destination for mountain biking. A wide variety of terrains and conditions give New York everything mountain bikers look for in a destination. In this session, we will explore the opportunities for growth of mountain bike tourism industry in NYS. Panelists will share best practices for building relationships between mountain bikers and community officials, planners, advocates, and the tourism industry. Learn what makes mountain biking unique from other biking initiatives, and how to best grow mountain biking as a tourism opportunity in our local communities all over the state. Let’s get New Yorkers hitting the trails!
