Former New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Joe Martens, now the Director of the New York Offshore Wind Alliance and a great friend of the bike movement in NYS, will moderate a panel of Municipal Leaders - Mayor Thomas Roach from White Plains, and Common Council Member Leah Golby from Albany - who will share with the audience how they achieved significant progress in their communities relating to bicycle infrastructure and multi-modal transportation.  At the same time, the panelists will also frame how the progress in their respective communities also drives an important urban environmental and green agenda relating to congestion relief, energy conservation and pollution reduction.
