Workshop - Building a Stronger Advocacy Movement
Limited Capacity seats available

We believe New York is poised to become a national leader in the bike movement. The attitudes and culture regarding bicycling are shifting in our favor, and now is the time to build the grassroots capacity of the bike advocacy movement. In this workshop, we will identify strategies to help bike advocacy groups all over the state advance their mission.

Workshop - Completing the Empire State Trail with Alta Planning
Limited Capacity seats available

During his 2017 State of the State address, Governor Cuomo announced plans for the Empire State Trail. This will include 350 miles of new trails across the state that will complete a 750-mile trail network, the largest in the nation, by 2020. This is obviously a game changer for recreational cycling in New York and we couldn’t be more excited for it. In this workshop, we invite planners, advocates and professionals attending the summit to help identify the opportunities and challenges that will arise while completing this trail network. With everyone who is attending’s collective knowledge and experience regarding all things bicycling, this workshop provides a real opportunity for cooperation from agencies and organizations across the state to make the Empire State Trail the best network possible.
